LAMANA is a young wool and fashion label founded in 2010 in Bielefeld, Germany. They combine exclusive yarns with contemporary design.

Inspired by the love of hand knitting, wool and fashion, they first specialized in premium Peruvian yarns. Meanwhile, they work exclusively with selected owner-operated wool spinning mills in Italy and Peru. During the production of the yarns, great importance is attached to the origin of the wool, the growing conditions and the further processing and dyeing of the fibers they select. They ensure their high standards for premium LAMANA quality, sustainability and a fair production process through regular visits to carefully selected partners on site.

The collection impresses by combining luxurious fibers with excellent craftsmanship and ranges from delicate lace to SUPERLIGHT voluminous yarns. Each quality clearly stands for itself. But they also have a soft spot for the exciting, multi-strand possibilities of combining our yarns. This is especially reflected in the diversity of the models they design for you.

Within the LAMANA color world, many of the selected shades can be found in the entire yarn collection. This allows countless possible combinations of harmonious color variations to be created in different yarn textures.

With the LAMANA SUPERLIGHT collection, an extraordinary yarn selection has been developed for lightweight knits. Innovative production processes give the SUPERLIGHT yarns a unique lightness. As a result, the knitted favorites weigh considerably less than normal and offer comparable airy wearing comfort.

But not only are the yarns an asset to the DIY culture, the creation of a new design vocabulary and the exciting exchange and shared projects with other creative minds from the wool world are very dear to them.
